The Franciscan Monastery welcomes you to this year's Icon Writing course. This year's course will be held from evening of August 15 to morning of August 28, 2010.

Father Paul Vaineikis and Brother Carlo Bertagnin come from Lithuania and Italy expressly to share with you the joys of Writing Icons in the Catholic tradition. Please join them for an unforgettable opportunity to learn the history and theory of icons, and to create your own personal artifact of faith. An exceptional spiritual and artistic experience!

Instructors: Father Paul Vaineikis and Brother Carlo Bertagnin each have 16 years experience in creating icons. They are two of the few professional iconographers in the world. Brother Carlo completed training in Venice and Trento. Father Paul completed his training in Kaunas, Lithuania.
